Magnetic conductivity: The magnetic isolation sheet can guide the magnetic field energy generated by the primary coil to act on the secondary coil more effectively.
Magnetic shielding: Magnetic shielding sheets can effectively block magnetic fields, prevent metal and other conductors from generating eddy current effects, and reduce energy loss and heat generation.
Heat dissipation: The coil will generate heat under the action of high-frequency current, and the magnetic isolation sheet helps to dissipate the heat and prevent overheating.
The material and thickness of the magnetic isolation sheet need to be carefully designed to avoid magnetic saturation problems and keep the inductance of the coil stable, thereby ensuring the smooth progress of the wireless charging process. The characteristics and thickness of the magnetic material have a great influence on the charging efficiency. Too thin magnetic sheets may cause magnetic saturation and reduce charging efficiency.
When designing a wireless charging coil, factors to consider include the size of the coil, the number of turns, the wire diameter, and whether to use a multi-layer coil. The design principle of the coil is large self-inductance, large mutual inductance, and small internal resistance. In low-frequency wireless charging, DC internal resistance is an important consideration, and appropriate AC internal resistance also needs to be considered. Multi-layer coils are better than single-layer coils because they can provide greater self-inductance and mutual inductance, thereby improving charging efficiency.
